^Lot 174 2pc John Beswick Thelwell Series Equestrian Figurines

2pc John Beswick Studio Sculptures from the Thelwell Series, based on the comic illustrations of Norman Thelwell. The lot consists of two hand-decorated resin figurines depicting humorous equestrian mishaps and moments. The first figurine, titled Early Bath, depicts a grey pony standing over a fallen rider in a stream and is dated 1984. The second figurine, titled I Forgive You, shows a rider affectionately embracing a chestnut pony and is dated 1984. Both pieces have identification labels on the undersides. Hand decorated in England.
