DENMARK: medal (57.11g), 1920, 50mm brass medal for the Reunification of Denmark, by Utzon Frank, crowned dual arms // two nude males shaking hands with "1864 / 1920" above, all within square with geometric lines around, spot on reverse, file mark on plain edge, Unc. The 1920 reunification of Denmark returned Northern Schleswig to Denmark after a plebiscite following Germany's WWI defeat. Divided into two zones, the northern area voted 75% for Denmark, while the middle area voted 80% to remain German, setting the current border on June 15, 1920.
