Imtiyazgarh (Adoni), located in present-day Andhra Pradesh, came under the influence of the Hyderabad Nizams following the establishment of the Asaf Jahi state by Nizam-ul-Mulk Asaf Jah I in 1724. Although coins continued to bear the names of Mughal emperors, many issues are classified as Hyderabad Feudatory because the mint operated within the Nizam's political sphere rather than under direct Mughal administration.
