^Lot 109 7pc Schumann Arzberg Bavaria Germany Fruit Pattern

This 7 piece set of fine porcelain tableware was produced by the Schumann factory in Arzberg, Bavaria, Germany. The service features the Fruit pattern and consists of a large serving bowl and six dessert plates. Each piece is designed with a shallow form and a distinctive scalloped rim. The decoration includes a hand-applied gilded edge along the perimeter and a central polychrome transfer-printed fruit cluster. These botanical motifs vary across the pieces and include depictions of grapes, plums, peaches, pears, citrus, and berries. The large serving bowl also features smaller fruit sprigs around the interior well. The underside of each item bears a multi-colored factory mark featuring the word Bavaria arched over a crown and an orange shield containing a gold rampant lion.
