Lot 16 1894-O Morgan Silver Dollar
Struck at the New Orleans Mint. The obverse features a profile portrait of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with wheat and cotton, along with the inscription E PLURIBUS UNUM and the date 1894. The reverse displays an eagle with outstretched wings clutching arrows and an olive branch, encircled by a wreath, with inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and ONE DOLLAR. This issue was produced in 90% silver and 10% copper with a standard weight of 26.73 grams.
