^Lot 55 Oyster Plate Shell Pattern Plate OYP43

This Oyster Plate OYP43 features six relief-molded shell wells arranged around a central circular sauce well. The piece displays shell wells finished in a lustrous white glaze with hand-painted pale pink and lavender edges, each detailed with a stylized purple and yellow muscle scar. The spaces between the shells are decorated with a textured, mottled brownish-khaki ground mimicking a rocky seafloor, while the central sauce well is accented with a gilded rim. The underside of the plate features an impressed mark with the shape number 143 and is supported by an unglazed hexagonal foot rim.
