Historic Drumheller Fox Fur – Winnifred Hooker Collection
Originating from the early 1900s, this exceptional fox fur is tied to Winnifred Hooker, a pioneering fur farmer in Drumheller. Her fox farm supplied premium pelts for many years to the renowned Hudson’s Bay Company, a cornerstone of Canada’s fur trade history.
This piece remains in immaculate condition, preserving the craftsmanship and quality expected from that era. Notably, it is believed to be among the final fox furs produced from her operation, making it a rare and meaningful artifact.
