^Lot 411 Gorham Sterling Pierced Pastry Server, Baronial-Old

The server features a broad, scalloped blade with elaborate floral and scrollwork piercings. The handle is decorated in a Rococo-revival style with scrolling foliage and a prominent shell motif at the terminal. The reverse of the handle is stamped with the Gorham trademarks of a lion passant, anchor, and the letter G, as well as Sterling and the patent date Pat. 1898.
