A vintage Norman Rockwell figurine produced by Gorham as a First Edition, titled Fall – The Coal Season's Coming. This collectible figurative ceramic sculpture is inspired by Rockwell's Four Seasons Illustrations for 1960. The diorama is executed in painted bisque ceramic and depicts an adult man and a young boy, both wearing white aprons, jointly working on assembling a black potbelly stove. A small black and white cat is seated near the man's feet. The boy stands on a green wooden stool. The rectangular white base is incised with the signature Norman Rockwell on the front. The underside contains printed text reading THIS SELECTION INSPIRED BY NORMAN ROCKWELL'S FOUR SEASONS ILLUSTRATIONS FOR 1960 FIRST EDITION FALL – THE COAL SEASON'S COMING FROM THE GIFT WORLD OF GORHAM.
