^Lot 390 Two Goebel M.I. Hummel Items: In the Kitchen Figurine and Kozy Kitchen Hummelscape

This lot features two Goebel M.I. Hummel items consisting of a hand-painted porcelain figurine and a coordinating Hummelscape display base. The figurine, titled In the Kitchen (HUM 2038), depicts a young boy dressed as a chef wearing a white toque, a yellow apron, and a blue neckerchief. He holds a mixing bowl with batter and a rolling pin, while a small grey dog sits at his feet. The coordinating Hummelscape, titled Kozy Kitchen (1009-D), is constructed of hand-painted resin and depicts a kitchen interior with a black wood-burning stove, wall shelving, and a window box with a bird and cooling muffins. The figurine base features the Goebel TMK-8 stylized bee mark, Germany, and a blue Millennium 2000 stamp. The side of the figurine base is inscribed Meisterkoch In the Kitchen. The display base includes a circular label on the back and a rectangular label on the underside identifying the collection and model number Mark # 1009-D with a 1999 copyright.
