^Lot 384 Goebel M.I. Hummel Turmbläser Fanfare Century Collection Figurine

This large-scale hand-painted porcelain figurine, titled Turmbläser or Fanfare, was produced by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik as part of the Century Collection XX. The scene features five children in vibrant winter attire gathered on a snow-dusted castle battlement. Three children play long golden-toned trumpets while two others look on. The structure is intricately detailed with stonework, a winding staircase, a recessed window housing a bell, and a delicate gold-tone metal safety chain. The underside bears the Goebel Germany TMK-8 trademark, the M.I. Hummel signature stamp, and the 1999 date. It is designated as a Letzte Ausgabe or Final Edition and features the Century Collection XX circular seal. The model number 973 and the hand-painted artist mark are present on the base, with the M.I. Hummel signature also incised into the back of the staircase. Height: 11 inches.
