A hand-painted fine earthenware figurine produced by Goebel, featuring the iconic Apple Tree Boy design by Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel. The subject depicts a young boy in traditional Alpine clothing, including lederhosen and a blue-checkered jacket, seated in the fork of an apple tree with a small bird perched nearby. The underside of the base displays the Goebel TMK-5 Last Bee mark, dating the piece between 1972 and 1979, and includes the blue stamp © by W. Goebel W. Germany. The model number 142/I is incised on the base rim, signifying the larger size of this specific mold. An incised artist mark N. is also present on the underside. Height: 6 inches.
