^Lot 372 Goebel Hummel Spring Sowing Limited Edition Figurine and Seeds of Friendship Hummelscape

This two-piece Goebel Hummel vignette features a hand-painted porcelain figurine titled Spring Sowing and a coordinating decorative display base from the Hummelscapes Collection titled Seeds of Friendship. The primary figurine depicts a young girl in traditional dress, including a brown bodice and red-toned skirt, wearing a crown of yellow and orange blossoms. She is posed in a crouching position feeding a white lamb from an open sack. The underside of the figurine bears the blue Goebel Germany mark with a stylized bee logo, a printed limited edition mark numbered 00938 of 25,000, and a hand-applied Hum 99 mark.

The accompanying scenic base is a cast composite material detailed with a two-rail wooden fence, a gnarled tree trunk with pink blossoms and a perched blue bird, a white hen, a watering can, and various colorful flowers. The rear of the base features a circular green medallion for The Hummelscapes Collection, Seeds of Friendship. The underside of the base includes a yellow label identifying it as Mark #1034-D, copyrighted by Goebel in 1999, and a separate sticker indicating manufacture in China.
