This large-scale hand-painted porcelain figurine is a premier piece from the Goebel M.I. Hummel Century Collection, titled Here's My Heart or Ein Herz für Dich. The vignette features a young boy in a green jacket and lederhosen climbing an apple tree toward a yellow bird, while a young girl in a dirndl stands below with her apron full of harvested apples. A small dog sits at the base of the tree near a rustic wooden fence. The underside is fully marked with the Goebel Germany factory mark, the Century Collection stamp dated 1998 with Roman numeral XX, and the dual-language title. The base includes the incised mold number 383 and KIS, along with a hand-painted decorator mark. This hum figurine is a significant addition to any collection of fine German porcelain.
