Lot 367 Five Goebel M.I. Hummel Hand-Painted Ceramic Figurines
This collection consists of five hand-painted ceramic figurines manufactured by Goebel in the style of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel. The group features various depictions of children in everyday scenes with a matte finish. The first figurine, titled Morning Concert, depicts a boy in a light purple jacket playing a recorder and is marked as an Exclusive Special Edition No. 11 for members of the Goebel Collectors Club with a 1984 copyright and incised number 450. The second figurine, titled Geigerlein or Little Fiddler, features a boy with a violin and black hat, bearing a Goebel West Germany stamp and a gold-toned M.I. Hummel medallion. The third piece, titled The Final Sculpt or Abschiedsgruß, is a limited edition shoemaker figurine numbered 5586 of 10,000, featuring the printed name Gerhard Skrobek, the year 2002, a bumblebee-in-V mark, and a cursive Goebel signature. The fourth figurine depicts a boy fishing into a circular basin and is marked with a Goebel West Germany stamp and the number 71. The fifth figurine, titled Eine gute Nachricht or Good News, shows a boy with a letter and a potted blue hydrangea, marked with a Goebel stamp, a crown-style mark, and numbers 96 and 10/I.
