^Lot 335 2pc Royal Doulton Brambly Hedge Figurines - DBH50 and DBH52

Two Royal Doulton hand-made and hand-decorated ceramic figurines from the Brambly Hedge: The Spring Story Collection, based on the illustrations of Jill Barklem. The first figurine, where are Basil's Trousers? (DBH50), depicts an anthropomorphic mouse in blue and white striped pajamas seated on a salmon-colored sofa beside a side table with a bottle and citrus fruit. The second figurine, Mrs. Toadflax Decorates a Cake (DBH52), features a mouse in a floral dress standing at a kitchen table with a pink-iced cake. Both items exhibit a high-gloss glazed finish. The underside of each piece bears the complete manufacturers backstamp, including the Royal Doulton logo, the collection title, the model name, and the date 2002. Measurement is of largest item.
