^Lot 275 6pc Beswick Beatrix Potter Figurines and Tree Stump Display Stand

A collection of six ceramic items comprising five polychrome glazed figurines depicting anthropomorphized characters from the Beatrix Potter stories and one large display plinth shaped as a reddish-brown tree stump base. The figures include two mice, a pig seated in a chair, a badger-like figure, and Jeremy Fisher the frog. Markings on the underside of the figures confirm manufacture by Beswick, reading MADE IN ENGLAND, with character names such as And this Pig had none and Jeremy Fisher, and a 1992 Royal Doulton copyright. The large ceramic base is measurement shown.
