Falstaff D6385 with rose tunic black hat with rose plumes and grey beard designed by Harry Fenton Character Jugs series Characters From Literature issued 1950 to 1995. Depicts Sir John Falstaff from Shakespearean literature. Auld Mac D5824 with green tam and brown coat designed by Harry Fenton issued 1940 to 1985. Inspired by Sir Harry Lauder song Bang Went Sixpence with inscription referencing the lyric on the tam. Toby Philpots D5737 with green hat brown coat and blue scarf with white spots designed by Charles Noke issued 1937 to 1969. Depicts the traditional toby jug figure associated with 18th century drinking songs and British tavern themed character jugs. Each marked Royal Doulton.
