^Lot 234 2pc Royal Doulton Small Character Jugs, D6843 and D7025

Jugs include the Pearly Queen D6843 small character and the Mr Pickwick D7025 small character jug. The Pearly Queen model was modeled by Stanley James Taylor and is dated 1986, depicting a woman in traditional London pearly attire with a large, plumed hat and a collar featuring button-like details. The Mr Pickwick model was designed by William K. Harper exclusively for the International Royal Doulton Collectors Club and is dated 1995. It portrays the Dickensian character wearing gold-tone wire-rimmed spectacles and a top hat, with a full-bodied figure forming the handle. Both pieces are finished in a high-gloss glaze and feature comprehensive backstamps on the underside, including model numbers, designer names, and copyright dates.
