^Lot 231 2pc Royal Doulton Figurine and Character Jug, Pride and Joy, and The Cavalier

A pair of Royal Doulton glazed porcelain pieces featuring a limited edition figurine and a miniature character jug. The first item is titled Pride and Joy, model HN2945, modeled by artist Robert Tabbenor. This piece depicts an elderly gentleman in a yellow cardigan and lavender tie seated in a green wingback chair, cradling a miniature character jug and holding an open book. The underside is marked with the Royal Doulton International Collectors Club backstamp, the printed signature of Robert Tabbenor, and is dated 1982. The second item is a small character jug of the Cavalier. The jug features a jovial expression with a handlebar mustache and a green feathered hat. The base displays the standard Royal Doulton backstamp. Dimensions based on the largest item.
