This 2pc lot features Royal Doulton glazed ceramic character jugs, identified as the Gladiator and St George models. The Gladiator jug, model D6553 with a 1960 copyright, depicts a bearded man wearing a textured brown helmet, with a handle modeled as a sword hilt and yellow scabbard. The name GLADIATOR is embossed on the reverse of the base. The St George jug, model D6618 with a 1967 copyright, portrays the saint in a gray helmet and blue tunic with a red cross, featuring a handle in the form of a sculpted green dragon. Both jugs bear the Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp on the underside, including model numbers and registration details.
