^Lot 219 Royal Doulton Sir Henry Doulton Large Two-Handled Character Jug D7054

This Royal Doulton character jug, model D7054, depicts Sir Henry Doulton and was issued in 1996 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Sir Henry Doulton 1897-1997. Modelled by William K. Harper, the hand-decorated ceramic jug features Sir Henry in a navy coat and yellow bow tie. The vessel is designed with two unique handles: one depicting a female potter with a vase and rabbit, and the other an architectural column with a mottled green glaze. The underside is fully marked with the Royal Doulton backstamp, model details, and the limited edition number 751 of 1,997. The item is presented with its original blue manufacturer box and a matching numbered certificate of authenticity.
