A Royal Doulton double-sided character jug from The Star Crossed Lovers Collection, titled Samson & Delilah, model number D6787. This hand-decorated ceramic piece was modeled by Stanley James Taylor and issued in 1987. The jug features a dual-faced design: one side portrays Delilah with dark hair, a jeweled tiara, and drop earrings, with a handle shaped like a classical column. The reverse side depicts a bearded Samson with a handle shaped like a jawbone. The underside bears the official Royal Doulton backstamp, the collection title, model details, and the modeler's name.
