^Lot 211 Royal Doulton Character Jug Vice Admiral Lord Nelson D6932 with COA

This Royal Doulton ceramic character jug, titled Vice-Admiral Lord Nelson (D6932), is a Character Jug of the Year special edition released in 1993. Modeled by Stanley James Taylor, the piece depicts the naval commander in a dark blue and gold-trimmed uniform with a bicorne hat and eyepatch. The handle is formed in the shape of a ship's mast and sails flying a Union Jack. The underside carries the official Royal Doulton backstamp with commemorative text for the Battle of Trafalgar and is further marked with a hand-written signature in gold-toned ink reading Michael Doulton 1999. The item is accompanied by a printed certificate of authenticity.
