A pair of Royal Doulton hand-decorated porcelain figurines from The Ivory and Gold Collection, modeled by Nada M. Pedley and dated 1999. This 2pc group includes Summer Duet (HN 4225), depicting a young girl with a bird and flower basket, and After the Rain (HN 4226), featuring a young girl in a coat holding a closed umbrella. Both figures are finished in a characteristic ivory glaze with fine gold-gilt highlights. The undersides of the bases are fully marked with Royal Doulton backstamps, titles, and limited edition information. Summer Duet is identified as No. 480 and After the Rain as No. 295 from a total edition size of 1,500 each.
