A Royal Doulton fine bone china figurine titled The Shepherdess, model number HN 2420. This hand-made and hand-decorated piece was modeled by John Bromley and issued in 1991. The figurine depicts a young woman in pastoral dress, featuring a wide-brimmed straw hat with a blue ribbon, a multi-colored bodice, a tiered white and pink skirt, and orange lace-up boots. She is shown holding a white lamb, with a second lamb standing beside her on a textured green base. The underside bears the official Royal Doulton maker mark, the model name and number, and identifies the piece as number 332 from a limited edition of 12,500.
