The limited-edition figurine, 867 of 1500, was modelled by Eric Griffiths. The figure depicts a newsboy standing on a simulated cobblestone base, hand-painted in a blue jacket, brown trousers, and a black and white checkered cap and scarf. The newsboy holds a stack of newspapers and a white sandwich board sign inscribed with BEN NEWS and ABOUT IT. The underside features the printed green and black Royal Doulton backstamp, stating Handmade and hand decorated, and identifying the model as OLD BEN, HN 3190
