Modeled by Robert Tabbenor, the hand-painted glazed ceramic figure depicts a military officer in late 18th-century attire. The officer wears a red frock coat over tan breeches, a black bicorne hat with a green and white plume, and tall black boots. The pose features the officer with one foot resting on the wooden-style carriage of a blue-gray cannon, complete with coiled rope detail on a light blue base. The underside of the base bears the official Royal Doulton factory mark.
