The underside appears to be inscribed “Henry / Anautak / 83” above “CANADA.” The carving has a strong decoy-like silhouette and a restrained treatment that emphasizes mass and contour over detailed plumage. A modest signed Inuit bird carving of appealing cabinet scale. Minor edge rubbing consistent with age and handling.
