The bowl is carved from a single block of mottled green stone with a variegated color palette ranging from deep spinach to mossy tones. The stone features characteristic cloudy white and dark charcoal inclusions, often referred to as moss and snow patterning. The vessel is of classic flared conical form with a slightly everted rim, rising from a short circular foot. The stone is finely polished to a smooth, waxy luster and shows areas of translucency when backlit. The undecorated surface is intended to highlight the natural organic beauty of the stone. t is paired with a custom-made hardwood stand, intricately carved and pierced with scrolling foliate and cloud-head motifs, featuring a central circular aperture and a recessed seat tailored to the foot ring, all resting on five stylized ruyi-form feet.
