A 6pc Copeland Spode England India Tree grouping including cup & saucer, soup bowl & liner plate, dinner plate and additional coordinating plates. This fine earthenware service is decorated in the traditional India Tree pattern, featuring a transfer-printed Chinoiserie design in a rich iron-red monochrome palette. The central motif depicts a gnarled flowering tree with large blossoms, surrounded by delicate floral sprays and an intricate Greek key border. Each piece is characterized by a scalloped rim accented with a hand-painted dark red line. The grouping includes one dinner plate, two luncheon or dessert plates, one bread and butter plate, one teacup with saucer, and one two-handled bouillon bowl with liner plate. This pattern, also known as Indian Tree, is a celebrated design from the Spode factory. Dinner plate: 10 inches diameter. Luncheon plates: 8 inches diameter. Bread plate: 6 inches diameter.
