^Lot 403 7pc Raynaud Limoges Porcelain Red Dragon Dinnerware Set

A seven-piece porcelain dinnerware set by Raynaud and Company of Limoges, France, decorated in the Red Dragon pattern. The Chinoiserie-style decoration features iron-red (rouge de fer) dragons and phoenixes with gilded accents and rims. This pattern is a classic interpretation of traditional Chinese export porcelain motifs. The underside of the pieces bears three distinct marks: a green stamp with LIMOGES over a stylized R and FRANCE; a blue cursive inscription reading Fabrique et Decore Dans la Cite de Limoges; and a circular blue seal featuring a swan with the words RAYNAUD and Co. LIMOGES. The set includes a charger, a covered casserole dish, a bread or side plate, two cups, and two saucers.
