^Lot 359 Pair of Cohr Denmark Sterling Silver Sugar Spoons in Pierced Grape Pattern

This pair of sterling silver sugar or jam spoons was manufactured by Carl M. Cohr of Fredericia, Denmark. The spoons feature the COH18 pattern, characterized by a naturalistic Art Nouveau-inspired design. Each handle terminates in an openwork loop formed as a vine, which contains a single pierced grape leaf. A detailed cluster of grapes is situated where the looped terminal meets the stem. The spoons have broad, rounded bowls with a high-polish finish. The reverse of each handle is incised with the mark COHR STERLING DENMARK. Pattern number COH18.
