Coin sets including the Philadelphia (P) and Denver (D) issues, each housed in rigid holders with handwritten identifiers. Each set contains the 1959 Lincoln Memorial cent-the first year of the Memorial reverse-as well as the Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt dime, Washington quarter, and Franklin half dollar. Obverse inscriptions across all denominations read LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 1959, while the reverse inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and denomination statements ONE CENT, FIVE CENTS, ONE DIME, QUARTER DOLLAR, and HALF DOLLAR. The dime, quarter, and half dollar are all struck in 90% silver for this year, with the Franklin half dollar featuring the Liberty Bell reverse and small eagle to the right.
