This 1959 United States Mint Proof Set, produced at the Philadelphia Mint. It contains five proof struck coins; Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt dime, Washington quarter, and Franklin half dollar. Included with the coin set is the distinctive blue U.S. Mint Philadelphia insignia. Each exhibiting the reflective surfaces and precision detail characteristic of early modern proof coinage. The coins and emblem is encased within the original cellophane packaging.
