Each roll containing 40 coins of the standard 5-gram cupronickel composition, with no mint facility or grading information provided. Each coin features on the obverse a left-facing portrait of Thomas Jefferson with inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, and on the reverse the Monticello building with inscriptions MONTICELLO, FIVE CENTS, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and E PLURIBUS UNUM. The rolls bear handwritten notations indicating mixed dates, and each roll represents a circulated accumulation of U.S. five-cent pieces struck with the traditional Jefferson Nickel design.
