Lot 330 12pc 1914 to 1949 George V 1/2 Crown (Type 1&3) Coins

Each struck in silver and bearing the portrait of King George V or King George VI on the obverse with the inscriptions GEORGIVS V DEI GRA BRITT OMN REX or GEORGIVS VI DEI GRA BRITT OMN REX, while the reverses display the crowned quartered shield of the United Kingdom with surrounding inscriptions such as FID DEF IND IMP and HALF CROWN with their respective dates. Each coin represents its annual issue and standard silver composition for its period; early issues contain 0.925 fine silver and later issues 0.500 fine silver. Designs feature national heraldic symbols including the lions of England, harp of Ireland, and lion rampant of Scotland.
