Lot 301 1887-P Morgan Silver Dollar

Silver Dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint obverse features George T. Morgan's portrait of Lady Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with wheat and cotton, surrounded by the inscriptions E Pluribus Unum and the date 1887, with thirteen stars encircling the lower rim. The reverse displays a heraldic eagle with outstretched wings clutching arrows and an olive branch, encircled by the inscriptions United States of America, In God We Trust, and One Dollar. Net silver weight 0.859 troy oz.
