Lot 300 1886-P Morgan Silver Dollar
Silver dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint, displaying George T. Morgan's Liberty portrait on the obverse with flowing hair and a Phrygian cap adorned with agricultural motifs, surrounded by the inscription E PLURIBUS UNUM, thirteen stars, and the date 1886 at the base. The reverse features a heraldic eagle with outstretched wings clutching arrows and an olive branch, encircled by a laurel wreath, with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST and ONE DOLLAR. This example shows attractive original surfaces with light cartwheel luster visible beneath the album toning; housed in a vintage 2-2 holder labeled. Net silver weight 0.8593 troy oz.
