Each coin features the portrait of George Washington on the obverse with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, LIBERTY, QUARTER DOLLAR, and IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse of each quarter highlights a different state or territory with designs celebrating their unique heritage, landmarks, and history.
