A grouping of 2pc figurines crafted from brightly glazed and polychrome painted ceramic, executed in an expressive, stylized manner, depicting newsboys holding papers. The larger figure is mounted on a rectangular wooden base. The underside of this base is inscribed "RUBY BY GARY SHELBY GALLERIES SAUSALITO, CAL 10/78". The second figure stands on an irregular green ceramic base and bears a retailer's label from "R. Valentino ARTICOLI DA REGALO" (Giftware) located in Taormina, Italy.
