^Lot 92 Frankoma, Nude Woman with Panther Figurine Model 568

This Frankoma ceramic glazed figurine features a stylized Art Deco nude woman standing with a panther. The sculpture is characterized by flowing lines and a unified composition where drapery sweeps from the figure's head down and around the base. The piece is finished in a high-gloss creamy white glaze over a reddish-orange earthenware clay body. The underside is hand-incised with the Frankoma factory name and model number 568, which is also stamped in green ink. An incised copyright mark for designer Joseph Galesi is also present on the base. Height: 11.25 inches.
