An earthenware pottery vase attributed to Cedar Mesa Native American Signature Pottery, featuring Southwest and Navajo-style designs. The small, bulbous vessel has a restricted neck and is decorated with polychrome slip in black, white, deep red/maroon, and a graduated teal/blue-green band. The decoration is segmented into two registers: the upper band depicts a mountain desert landscape with black silhouettes of mesas and buttes against the graduated sky colors. The lower section features stark black and white geometric and abstract motifs. The base is covered in white slip and is marked with a black stylized signature or initials.
