Lot 10 1901-O Morgan Silver Dollar

A 1901 Morgan Silver Dollar composed of ninety percent silver and ten percent copper. The obverse features the stately profile of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap encircled by agricultural motifs of wheat and cotton, framed by the legend E PLURIBUS UNUM and the date below. The reverse depicts an eagle with wings spread wide, grasping arrows and an olive branch, surrounded by a laurel wreath, along with the inscriptions IN GOD WE TRUST, along with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and ONE DOLLAR. It bears the distinctive "O" mintmark below the wreath. Presented in a plastic round holder.
