English sterling silver card tray by Walker & Hall, Sheffield, of rectangular form with canted corners, reeded border, repoussé Rococo Revival corner ornament, and raised central oval cartouche boss. The tray bears a British hallmark group including Sheffield crown, lion passant sterling mark, date letter, and Walker & Hall pennant-form maker’s mark. Early 20th century. A useful and decorative small tray with good desk or table presence. Visible with general polishing wear, surface scratching, spotting, and minor rim waviness consistent with age and use.
