Lot 133 Pair of Wiener Schubertbund Schubert Commemorative Prints, circa 1928
A pair of framed monochrome photomechanical commemorative prints on paper relating to Franz Schubert and the Schubert circle, each with a printed German heading associated with the Wiener Schubertbund. One sheet is after Leopold Kupelwieser and shows a bust portrait of Schubert; the other, after Franz von Schober, appears titled Vogl und Schubert. The lot is presented as a matched pair in later black frames with wide mats and offers clear appeal as Viennese musical-historical ephemera rather than as original 19th-century drawings. Visible condition includes light toning, minor spotting, and modest frame wear; not examined out of frame.
