^Lot 104 Victorian Walnut-Veneered Jewellery Box with Mother-of-Pearl Inlay

Late 19th-century English walnut-veneered jewellery or dressing box, approx. 12 x 8½ x 6½ in., with mother-of-pearl lid cartouche and escutcheon, fitted interior including letter compartment in the lid, lift-out tray and lower drawer, all lined in blue velvet. One mother-of-pearl escutcheon lacking, some veneer losses including one corner section, and wear to velvet lining consistent with age; no key present.
