Assembled group of four Asian decorative objects, including a pair of Chinese mid-20th-century cinnabar lacquer items, comprising a rectangular carved trinket box decorated with scholars in a landscape and a small carved snuff or perfume bottle with apocryphal Qianlong mark; a Chinese carved soapstone figural group depicting five monkeys climbing and playing atop an integral base, carved from creamy beige stone with natural veining; a small Indian tribal-style cast brass figure, probably made in the lost-wax tradition, modelled as a stylised standing figure on a circular base; and a carved netsuke-style figure of a seated man, probably Japanese or Japanese-style, early to mid-20th century, carved from a light organic material with underside himotoshi-type drilling. A varied and attractive cabinet group, suitable for shelf or desk display.

Condition:
Overall good to very good with expected age and handling wear. The cinnabar box has minor lacquer loss to the interior edge not visible when closed, and the bottle shows light wear. The soapstone monkey group appears excellent with minor natural inclusions to the stone. The brass figure has oxidation, surface pitting, rubbing to high points, and some roughness to the base. The netsuke-style carving shows handling patina, surface wear, and age-related hairline lines; no obvious major losses or repairs noted. Material-based export restrictions may apply to the netsuke-style figure depending on the precise composition.
