A two-piece Meissen porcelain group in the classic Blue Onion pattern, comprising a small cream jug and a scalloped dessert plate. Both are decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with stylized blossoms, fruit, and scrolling vegetal ornament on a white ground, and each bears the underglaze blue crossed swords factory mark to the underside. The pieces are associated rather than an original functional pair, but are well matched in pattern and presentation. A clean and attractive cabinet lot from one of Europe’s most enduring porcelain services. Light shelf and handling wear; no chips, cracks, or restoration observed.
