^Lot 69 Five English Imari-Style Ceramic Dessert Plates

Set of five matching English ceramic dessert plates, probably Staffordshire, decorated in the enduring Imari taste with cobalt-blue cartouches, iron-red and orange floral ornament, green leafy sprigs, and gilt highlights on a white ground. Each plate is centered with a stylized floral spray and fan motif, the border enlivened with scattered blossoms and repeating shaped reserves. A highly decorative group with strong visual impact, equally suitable for cabinet display, table setting, or as a wall arrangement. All five retain later wire hanging mounts to the reverse. Condition consistent with age and display use, including light wear to decoration and some underside soiling, with no major damage.
